About Bolingbrook High School
Bolingbrook High School, known locally as the Brook, is a public four-year high school and the second high school in Valley View Community Unit School District 365U. The original campus opened in 1974 on Lee Lane and now operates as Brooks Middle School. Continued community growth prompted an April 2002 referendum for a new high school at Schmidt Road and Lily Cache Lane, which opened in August 2004.
Bolingbrook High School is accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education and serves grades 9 through 12. It offers an Advanced Placement program and a dual-credit program through college partnerships, along with transitional math and English programs.
The Bolingbrook Raiders compete in the Southwest Prairie Conference and field a deep slate of programs sanctioned by the IHSA. The girls basketball program is among the strongest in the state, with four state championships, and the football team captured the school's first state title in 2011.
