Living near Disney II
Disney II Magnet High School sits in the Old Irving Park neighborhood, a leafy Northwest Side enclave known for its craftsman bungalows, Victorian frame houses, and wide, quiet streets. At its heart is the Villa District, a National Register historic district of roughly 126 bungalows and foursquare homes built mostly between 1907 and 1925, a pocket so distinctive that columnist Mike Royko once nicknamed it the Polish Kenilworth. Buyers here are drawn to solid brick construction, deep lots, and the kind of architectural character that is hard to find elsewhere in the city.
Getting downtown is simple thanks to the CTA Blue Line at Addison and Irving Park, along with several bus routes and quick access to the Kennedy Expressway. The surrounding Portage Park and Irving Park corridors bring neighborhood restaurants, coffee shops, and Independence Park, while families appreciate the mix of highly rated public and magnet schools nearby. It is a settled, walkable part of Chicago that still feels like a neighborhood.

Thinking of selling?
Not a Zestimate. A real CMA from someone who's sold this neighborhood, knows the floor plan premiums, and can tell you which upgrades the buyer pool here actually pays for.
