Living near Noble Street College Prep
Noble Square is one of West Town's most walkable pockets, tucked just west of the Kennedy Expressway between Division Street and Chicago Avenue, with Wicker Park and Bucktown a short stroll to the northwest. The streetscape tells the neighborhood's story: brick worker's cottages and vintage two-flats and three-flats sit shoulder to shoulder with tuckpointed greystones and sharp new-construction infill, a mix that gives every block its own texture. Division Street, once the heart of Chicago's Polish Downtown, anchors the area with wide sidewalks made for summer patio dining, and the nearby Polish Triangle still nods to that heritage.
Commuting is a genuine selling point here. The CTA Blue Line stops at Division and at Chicago sit right on the neighborhood's edge, putting the Loop just minutes away and O'Hare a straight shot in the other direction, so many residents skip the car entirely. East Village, just to the west, layers in the same historic housing stock with a quieter, gallery-and-cafe feel, while Wicker Park's dining and music scene is close enough to enjoy without living in the middle of it. For buyers who want vintage Chicago character, real transit access, and a walkable, food-rich stretch of the city, this corner of West Town is hard to beat.

The school
Noble Street College Prep was founded by husband-and-wife educators Michael and Tonya Milkie, in partnership with the Northwestern University Settlement Association, and opened in 1999 as one of Chicago's first charter schools. Michael Milkie had been a teacher at Wells Community Academy High School before launching the school, which admitted its first class of roughly 100 freshmen by lottery. It became the founding campus of what grew into Noble Schools, today Chicago's largest charter high school network.
Noble Street College Prep is built around a college-preparatory mission: to empower students with the scholarship, discipline, and honor necessary to succeed in college and lead lives rich with options. Getting students to and through college is the central focus, backed by a dedicated college counseling program that follows graduates beyond high school.

Not a Zestimate. A real CMA from someone who's sold this neighborhood, knows the floor plan premiums, and can tell you which upgrades the buyer pool here actually pays for.
